The renovated wellness centre is approximately 1,300m2 and has an indoor pool with numerous jets, steam room, caldarium, Himalayan salt sauna, rain shower, footbath, ice cave, relaxation areas, changing rooms and numerous treatment rooms. Be aware that in Portugal, swimwear is required in the sauna and swimming pools. Alternatively, you can wrap yourself in a towel in the saunas.

There is a weekday activity schedule with on average three activities a day, ranging from Pilates and stretching to walking and aqua gym. Be sure to book your place in advance! Yoga classes are held twice a week at an additional fee of €15 per class.

There are three restaurants in total: Mon-Chic, the contemporary-dining restaurant; O Mercado Culinário – open every day serving national and international breakfast and for diner serves local seasonal dishes accompanied by Portuguese wines ; Pizzeria da Serra – with an outdoor terrace boasting views over the Monchique mountain range and serving authentic pizzas. During the winter only Mon-chic restaurant is open. You can choose from the menu of Mercado (local Portuguese) or Mon-chic (contemporary dining). Healthy vegetarian and vegan options are also available. If you are staying on a half-board basis, you will earn specific credits and can choose which restaurant you’d like to dine at.

• The fitwalk to the 'Caldas de Monchique' where you pass the thermal spring and even drink fresh water from the spring.
• The sensorial spa circuit, it is a treatment in its own right!
• The spring water from the Monchique mountains which contains a high dose of alkaline (PH 9.5)

• The hotel is spread across three buildings, connected by a bridge or corridor. During the winter, only the main building (B) remains open, housing the rooms, spa, restaurants and fitness centre.
  
• Bring your favourite tea bags, as each suite has a water kettle in the room.
