I wanted to try the famous Mayr cure in this hotel and I was happy I did. I was especially amazed by the super-friendly staff of this hotel. I really appreciated the spa and sauna area, which had 2 different saunas, a far infrared sauna and a steam room. I liked the swimming pool that was actually sea water and not a traditional chlorinated pool. I also had a really nice room and beatiful view to the sea. My stay came to perfection with the great relaxing treatments by very professional and friendly spa staff. If you want a rejuvenation I recommend this place!

Masseria San Domenico is surrounded by olive and pomegranate trees, vines, wild rosemary and thyme. It is simply wonderful. Our room, the suite, was very spacious with 2 bathrooms and a balcony overlooking the pool. 

The grounds are very well kept, and the pool area and spa are gorgeous. The service is discrete but very good, the staff is very attentive and helpful. The shuttle service to the private beach area was great. 

The breakfast was rich and excellent. The wine list is great, with local wines, Italian wines, and French wines on the menu. 

Ik vond het echt geweldig! Fantastisch hotel, het is vrij groot maar het personeel doet geweldig werk om er een persoonlijke ervaring van te maken. Het is de perfecte plek om volledig tot rust te komen, de appartementen zijn prachtig gedecoreerd. De spa is schitterend, de behandelingen zijn professioneel en heerlijk. Het ontbijt en de andere restaurants serveren goed, vers, lokaal eten. 

Mijn man en ik waren opzoek naar een ontspannende bestemming. We vonden ons verblijf in Kaplankaya echt geweldig! 

Van het moment dat we aankwamen en de manager van het hotel ons begroette, tot het moment dat we weg gingen genoten we van uitstekende service. De kamers en het terrein zijn ontzettend goed onderhouden, met prachtige natuur en natuurlijk de geweldige spa. 

De service in de spa was echt fenomenaal. De behandelingen waren erg goed en heel erg ontspannen. Het personeel in het restaurant was zeer professioneel en behulpzaam. Het eten bestond uit biologische groente, geweldig ontbijt, en een menu met veel gezonde opties. 

Door de bloemen en kruiden hingen er heerlijke aroma's op het terrein. De kamers zijn ruim en door de materiaalkeuze van hout, marmer en aardekleuren geeft het een ontspannen gevoel. 

We hebben echt een geweldige ervaring gehad hier, en we zullen zeker terug gaan! 

This is a great place to escape for a relaxed summer vacation. The property is converted from a typical Puglian farmhouse so it offers a true Italian experience.

The meals are great, and they offer the local cuisine. Puglia has some great wines that can be tasted at the hotel. The large olive groves around the property are a unique feature of the hotel, and you can explore these by bike. 

The swimming pool is very nice, and the spa is well known with many offers for medical spa treatments with natural ingredients. 

I spent a very enjoyable week on the Mayr Cure at the end of July and will definitely be going back. The hotel definitely caters more for German guests but the staff spoke enough English, so it was not a problem.

My advise would be to choose a room with a balcony to sit out on, but all rooms are facing the sea. Can't wait to go back !!
