This opulent haven in Hikkaduwa, approximately 120 minutes from Colombo airport, has been welcoming guests since the beginning of 2020.

Haritha' means 'nature' or 'green' in Sinhalese. A 'stay in nature' is an understatement for this green wow destination. The concept of Haritha Villas revolves around the harmonious relationship between exclusive luxury and nature. Designed by award-winning English architect Gary Fell, this dazzling resort seamlessly blends natural, colonial, and modern elements to create an environment focused on the highest level of comfort and privacy. Situated on a hill in the jungle on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka, Haritha Villas offers a breathtaking view of the tropical rainforest, rice fields, and the Indian Ocean, just 900 meters away. Tailor-made experiences, including Ayurveda cures and treatments, allow guests to immerse themselves in the best that the natural world has to offer. The modern villas are nestled under the original colonial house, providing an elevated perspective of the surrounding rice fields. In the heart of Haritha lies the two-storey Haritha Jungle Spa (approx. 350 m²). A wonderful place for personalized wellness, signature treatments and Ayurveda treatments, acupuncture, acupressure, singing bowls or cosmetic treatments such as mani/pedi's. The spa at Haritha Villas is overseen by two professional Ayurveda doctors, supported by a spa manager, and a team of diverse therapists specializing in Ayurveda, Yoga, and Thai treatments. The spa's four treatment rooms, adorned with floor-to-ceiling windows, offer stunning views of the ocean and the private tea plantation. Close your eyes, savor a gentle sea breeze, and listen to the soothing sounds of chirping birds. The spa facilities include a jacuzzi, steam bath, herbal bath, sauna, sensory showers, Vichy shower, and a relaxation lounge. Utilizing natural ingredients, some sourced locally or from their own garden, and at times from England, the spa products enhance the rejuvenating experience. The fitness center within the spa operates 24 hours a day. The yoga and meditation platform, also offering sea views, provides a serene space for contemplation. For an ultimate meditation experience, consider a session at the local monastery.

At the semi-open restaurant "The View," you can indulge in the innovative, local, and international specialties. The culinary offerings are crafted with fresh, organic vegetables and fruits sourced from their own garden or local fishermen and farmers, adhering to the "farm-to-table" concept. Choose to dine indoors in the modern restaurant or on the outdoor terrace directly overlooking the infinity pool. For those not on an Ayurveda program, à la carte meals are available, allowing you to coordinate individual preferences with the kitchen through "unscripted dining." If you are following an Ayurveda program, a personalized menu based on your Dosha type, curated by Ayurveda doctors, awaits you. The air-conditioned lounge and the pool bar entice with delectable drinks and snacks. Haritha takes pride in the creative cocktails and mocktails crafted by its master mixologist. In the open pavilion "Sala Sala," you can savor the most delicious creations in the evening, enjoying an unobstructed view of the starry sky through the glass roof. Upon request, you can also experience private à la carte dining (e.g., in the rice field) or in your villa, and even participate in cooking classes.
