Why you’ll love it...
Es Racó d’Artà serves as a Mediterranean healing retreat on the island of Mallorca, offering a sanctuary to rejuvenate both the mind and body. Situated in a 13th-century Mallorcan finca within the Llevant Natural Park, owners Antoni Esteva and Jaume Danus have lovingly restored this historical site, creating a haven for individuals seeking inner peace and a deeper connection with nature. Their commitment to sustainability, respect, and a profound connection to the land has shaped this dream into reality.
The main building comprises eight spacious and luminous rooms, thoughtfully designed for relaxation. For those looking to embrace a more conscious way of life, this retreat provides the ideal environment. Under the caring guidance of the staff, you'll be encouraged to embark on a journey towards greater peace, connection, reflection, creativity, and ultimately, a freer life. The watchwords here are awareness and balance.
Es Racó d’Artà's meticulous attention to detail extends to every aspect of the experience, from spa treatments and activities to the ambiance of the rooms. Guests have the opportunity to cultivate self-awareness and a deeper connection with their bodies through various forms of meditation. Discover mindfulness exercises that ground you in the present moment and learn how to integrate them into your daily life. Explore the intricate interplay between your physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Savor wholesome and nourishing meals made from seasonal ingredients sourced from their own organic garden. The spa offers an array of therapies, including their signature Watsu treatment (inspired by zen shiatsu and performed in warm water), massages, yoga, meditation, scenic walks, and fitness classes. Es Racó d’Artà is a haven dedicated to rejuvenation and self-discovery, where you can embrace the harmonious balance of your being.
Wellness, Spa and Health
A stay at Es Racó d'Artá transcends the typical holiday experience; it serves as a transformative journey, marking the beginning of a new lifestyle. This is a voyage dedicated entirely to you. The spa, known as Sanum Per Aquam, stands as a mystical and rejuvenating haven nestled within nature, where every detail has been meticulously considered. Water takes center stage, for it symbolizes life itself. Of particular note is the Watsu experience, rooted in Zen Shiatsu. Through gentle acupressure, stretching, and the sensation of floating, you'll experience a near weightless state. This unique approach forges new connections within the mind and has the potential to liberate deeply ingrained, outdated patterns that no longer serve you.
Sustainability is at the core of Es Racó d'Artá, woven into the fabric of the hotel on all fronts. Even the spa adheres to this principle by exclusively utilizing locally sourced natural products. Geothermal technology plays a pivotal role in the spa's energy generation, aligning seamlessly with the retreat's commitment to environmental responsibility.

What’s on the Menu
Restaurant Beni Axir, Beni Said has vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. The restaurant is named after the ancient Berber name of the estate and means 'sons of those who are happy'. The origin of the dishes goes back 5,000 years to Mesopotamia, Asia Minor and Egypt. It is from this historical period that much of our culinary wisdom originates, encompassing practices like beer brewing, wheat farming, bread production, vine cultivation, beekeeping, vegetable farming, and fishing. Our commitment to reconnecting with these culinary origins is evident in our sourcing practices. Our ingredients come directly from our organic gardens or are procured from local farmers who employ sustainable farming methods. Fair trade, respect for both product and producer plus following the natural rhythms of nature are at the basis of the (h)honest dishes.Don't miss the opportunityto dine al fresco beneath the starry night sky.
