Where you are going...
Harmony Home is a wellness and Ayurveda retreat tucked into the Sierra Tejeda mountains of southern Spain — not far from Málaga, yet a world away from city life. Surrounded by olive trees and sweeping views, it offers true stillness and natural calm, with hiking trails at your doorstep and silence you can actually hear. Málaga Airport is about an hour’s drive away.
Why you’ll love it...
Harmony Home is a small-scale retreat run with care by Antonina, an American yoga teacher and Ayurvedic therapist who has shaped this place into something honest and grounded. It's more than just a boutique hotel — it still runs as a working olive farm, and it shows. Guests often speak of the food (the homemade olive oil is a favourite), the treatments, and the surrounding landscape as the highlights of their stay. But what really sets Harmony Home apart is the way simple things are done exceptionally well — from the deeply relaxing massages to the quiet, unhurried rhythm of each day. There are daily holistic activities, but nothing is pushed. You can join when it suits you. The food follows a Mediterranean-Ayurvedic approach: fresh, full of vegetables and herbs from the organic garden, and always prepared with attention. At Harmony Home, you’ll find space for stillness, for rest, or for genuine connection. Many guests return for the Ayurvedic reset program, which some describe as a turning point. Others come back just to pause for a few days — to eat well, move gently, walk in nature, or lie by the pool with the mountains in view.
Wellness, Spa and Health
Each day offers two yoga sessions, including a deeply restful yoga nidra in the afternoon. The light-filled yoga studio opens up to the landscape, creating a calm and grounding space. Meditation and sound baths invite you to slow down even further, while in the treatment rooms, expert hands offer massages and Ayurvedic therapies that go beyond relaxation. Outside, a saltwater pool looks out over the mountains, with sun loungers and quiet spots to rest in peace. There is a small infra-red sauna, used from mid October - mid June. A 30-minute session is included in all packages and scheduled from 5pm (depending on group size) before the evening yoga.

What’s on the Menu
Meals at Harmony Home are rooted in the Mediterranean tradition and gently guided by Ayurvedic wisdom. Everything is cooked fresh, mostly with organic, seasonal ingredients from the garden. The food is full of colour and flavour, rich in vegetables, and designed to nourish, energise, and support your digestion. The approach is thoughtful but unfussy: food is prepared with care for what your body needs. Dietary requirements like gluten or lactose intolerance are no problem, and there are plenty of satisfying options for vegetarians and vegans. Meals follow the rhythm of the day - a wholesome breakfast, and a set dinner of two or three courses that often surprises with its simplicity and depth of flavour.
