The Melea Method is built around five steps: measure, evaluate, learn, apply and follow up. The aim is not only to receive treatments during your stay, but also to understand more clearly what your body needs. Where you hold tension. Where you lose energy. Which habits support you. And which ones no longer do.
A medical programme usually starts before arrival with an extensive health questionnaire. During your stay, your programme may include laboratory tests, blood pressure measurement, pulse measurement, ECG, a medical consultation, body analysis, nutritional advice and movement analysis. Based on this, the team creates a personal plan.
The medical team consists of doctors, dietitians, physiotherapists, personal trainers, therapists and beauty professionals. The approach is broad, but remains practical. Expect advice on nutrition, movement, stress management, recovery, sleep and daily routines.
The Medical Spa also offers modern treatment techniques. Examples include red light therapy, Visbody 3D body analysis, IMBODY training, mindfulness, breathing sessions, Nuvola Dry Floating, molecular hydrogen inhalation and IHHT, a treatment in which you breathe alternating oxygen-reduced and oxygen-enriched air. Not everything is necessary for everyone. That is exactly the point: your programme is tailored to your goals and measurements.
The Wellness & Spa is spacious. There is a heated outdoor pool, a heated indoor pool and a jacuzzi. You will also find two Finnish saunas, an outdoor sauna, a steam bath, an infrared sauna, a cold plunge pool, a Kneipp pool and a relaxation area with a salt wall. The fitness room is equipped with Technogym and PentFitness equipment.
For beauty treatments, Melea works with brands including Alqvimia, Biologique Recherche and Seed to Skin. Treatments focus on skin improvement, relaxation and recovery, using technology where relevant, such as HydraFacial and light therapy.
At Aura by Melea, the focus is on healthy gastronomy, without it feeling strict or limited. The kitchen works with local, seasonal Hungarian ingredients and combines them with refined cooking techniques.
Breakfast consists of a cold buffet and warm à-la-carte dishes. Lunch and dinner are served at the table. The menu has a fixed base and is supplemented with seasonal dishes that change regularly.
The menu is built around different nutritional directions, including regular, Mediterranean, vegan and a lighter line for guests who prefer lighter meals. Dishes can be adapted to dietary requirements. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available.
The cooking techniques are also worth noting. Melea works with methods such as sous-vide and steaming, to prepare ingredients in a lighter way. There are also talks, workshops and cooking labs for guests who want to take something home beyond a good dinner.
In addition to the restaurant, there is a Tea Bar. Dietitians create drink menus here with herbal teas and hydrating drinks. Think blends for digestion, relaxation, energy or sleep support.
