Reviews of Park Igls Medical Spa Resort, Innsbruck/Igls (Austria)

Ik ben meer een atypische bezoeker van Parkhotel Igls omdat ik het onvrijwillig deed en niet genoot van het Mayr-dieet. Maar als je je darmen wilt ontgiften of gewoon wilt ontspannen, dan is dit de plek om naartoe te gaan! De faciliteiten zijn geweldig, het programma is gevarieerd en goed uitgevoerd. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en professioneel. Het eten is goed, ook al was ik niet blij met het restrictieve dieet. De keuken is zeer professioneel.

We had never done anything like a "Cure" before and after doing some online research we choose Park Igls, for a week's stay with two different programmes chosen for our needs. It exceeded our expectations and we'll go back for another stay. Apart from being in a wonderful location with mountain views and easy access to Innsbruck, the place itself is restful with good amenities and a day-long programme of optional gym classes, talks, walks etc. The staff are all excellent and really look after you. I thoroughly recommend it but research the Mayr diet before you book to make sure it's for you.

I stayed here for a week  and it’s the first time I’ve ever done anything like the Mayr cure. Its more of a fancy hospital than a spa, with fully trained medical staff, delicious food, amazing views and relaxing facilities. I was apprehensive upon arrival, but with friendly staff and guests, attention to detail and plenty to keep me occupied, I had a fabulous time and will definitely return soon.

Ik raad Park Igls echt aan! De Innsbruck bergen zijn prachtig en de lucht is erg schoon. Er zijn veel activiteiten, goede therapeuten, en prachtige, schone kamers. Het dieet was erg bevorderlijk voor mijn gezondheid, in 7 dagen ben ik 2 kilo afgevallen en ik voel me een stuk fitter! 

Het personeel in dit hotel is voortreffelijk. De aandacht die ze gaven was echt fantastisch, iedereen was toegankelijk en behulpzaam, waardoor de ervaring echt fantastisch was. De faciliteiten zijn uitstekend, genoeg activiteiten om de kuur te ondersteunen gedurende de hele dag. Daarnaast is de omgeving en de locatie geweldig. De moderne Mayr heeft voor mij gewerkt! 

This is a health clinic as much as a hotel - it does the Modern Meyr method of diagnosis and cure. I simply cannot say enough good things about this facility - because that is what it is. The location is idyllic; the staff are phenomenal - kind and polite and cheerful to a fault. The actual medical element is beyond compare - you wouldn't find anything remotely like this in the UK. After years of feeling awful, 8 days has changed my life and with no medication - it was all herbal and vitamin based. They use loads of complementary medicine and their practitioners are properly trained people. The rooms are immaculate and every single bathroom and lavatory in the public areas is pristine at all times. The swimming pool and sauna areas (they have 2 - for those who what to wear a little something and for those who want the full monty) are stunning, clean and incredibly well set up with tonnes of towels, swimming things and loungers. Every bedroom has an amazing shower and hot water bottles for liver compresses and hot water canisters on each floor to fill them with. There is a tea bar that has different teas every day that do different things for your health. They have an incredible fitness room and a free programme of fitness events every day (in the fitness room and the pool) as well as a infrared saunas and steam rooms. Its an adult heaven. Its also 15 minutes by bus to Innsbruck or if you want a walk, you are in the middle of the mountains and can go through the village into green fields (which were covered in snow. Thick, white powdery snow). It was like Narnia in winter but without the bad bits.
