A sound bath, also known as a singing bowl session, is a form of sound therapy where vibrations are produced by instruments such as singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and other resonant tools. During a sound bath, you typically lie comfortably on the floor, experiencing the vibrating sound waves that move through the air and your body. The purpose of a sound bath is to induce a deep state of relaxation and meditation. The sound waves can be perceived as healing, reducing physical, mental, and emotional tension. The facilitator of the sound bath creates a soundscape by playing the various instruments harmoniously, allowing you to fully surrender to the experience.
At PureandCure, we present a wide range of retreats in the Netherlands, offering our guests a mini wellbeing holiday experience. These short getaways serve as short getaway, seamlessly integrating elements of yoga, mindfulness, meditation, nature walks, and more. Or how to Quit smoking. Always set against picturesque landscapes in nature, our retreats take place in four star hotels that offer extensive spa and wellness facilities. We introduced these short weekend retreats in 2010 at Badhotel Domburg by the sea. The aim was to provide a taste of yoga and other relaxation techniques in an accessible manner and close to home. It turned out to be a big succes, prompting us to expand our offerings with various themes and additional hotels. Now, every year, thousands of enthusiastic PureandCure travelers embark on these short wellness breaks, seeking relaxation, rejuvenation, and a fresh infusion of energy. The four-star wellness hotels, nestled in the woods, meadows, or by the sea, provide the perfect setting for a delightful wellness weekend.
PureandCure retreats are accessible to everyone, regardless of experience level. Suitable for both beginners and advanced participants, our weekend retreats offer a chance to escape home, immerse yourself in a different environment, and partake in an inspiring program. Ideal for those who may not have the time for an extended journey but still desire a relaxing getaway. Guests share that they feel rejuvenation and recharged, like they have been away for weeks. Our retreat weekends in the Netherlands provide an excellent opportunity to recharge your batteries. Many PureandCure guests choose to attend either alone (40%) or with a friend, partner, parent, colleague, or family member (60%).
