The weekend retreat offers a comprehensive approach addressing all 5 koshas recognized in yoga philosophy. The term 'kosha' denotes layers or sheaths, representing the various dimensions of human existence: physical, mental, energetic, intellectual, and spiritual - all areas are interconnected. This retreat is a journey of strenghtening and nurturing your back. Utilizing specialized yoga equipment, we focus on enhancing muscle strength and correct posture. Additionally, we delve into the mental and emotional pillars, exploring their correlation with back issues, as well as the intricate relationship between the spinal cord, brain, and nervous system, alongside the importance of breathwork. You engage in exercises aimed at releasing deep-seated tension from the hip/lumbar muscles, notably the iliopsoas, often dubbed the 'stress muscle' due to its susceptibility to tension accumulation.

Emphasizing proper sitting and standing postures, we also dedicate time to back strengthening exercises. Muscle strength and posture will be improved by using specialized yoga props. You will experience back discomfort find significant relief through the utilization of tools like the yoga strap and back roll. These aids stem from Critical Alignment Yoga, a practice tailored towards addressing spinal health and enhancing movement patterns.

Personalized sessions

Throughout this retreat, you have the option to reserve personalized sessions. A Body-reading entails an assessment of your posture and movements, coupled with tailored recommendations for home exercises. Moreover, you can opt for a Body-reading session that includes the use of a massage-gun. This device vigorously vibrates muscles and connective tissues, easing muscle soreness and promoting relaxation. Specific attention is given to problem areas during the treatment. You have the flexibility to combine the massage-gun session with a Body-reading or book it separately.
