Rooms

The charming turn-of-the-century palace and new contemporary building together house 97 elegantly decorated rooms. Choose a beautiful room or suite with a view of Lake Lucerne or the panoramic mountain landscape. The wooden floors, pastel-colored furniture and wallpaper are specially chosen and designed in accordance with the Chenot philosophy and contribute to relaxation and regeneration. All rooms are equipped with a shower and/or bath, hair dryer, bathrobe, telephone, WiFi, safe and air conditioning. Most rooms have a balcony or terrace with mountain or lake views. The rooms vary in size due to their location in the historic building. The deluxe rooms are somewhat larger than the standard and overlook the lake. The even larger classic double rooms have a king-size bed. The largest rooms are the deluxe doubles which also have a sofa in the sitting area.

Niet te vergelijken met bijvoorbeeld de SHA want hier zijn alleen gasten welkom die kuren en minimaal 7 dagen blijven daardoor andere sfeer. Hele fijne vibe, fantastisch eten (eet al 20 jaar plantaardig maar de keuken hier is echt verrassend en heerlijk ondanks de kleine porties). Alles is van hoge kwaliteit en heel schoon, personeel werkt er graag, dat is merkbaar, uitzonderlijk mooie locatie, ieder detail is aan gedacht. Programma is niet te vol, geen agressieve verkooptrucs, flexibel met de agenda en een bezoek aan de bergen is makkelijk want de kabelbaan en of trein is in de buurt. Wat een heerlijke bubbel en je komt er gezonder uit.

Uitstekend, zeer ontspannend verblijf in een moderne en sportieve omgeving, veel dingen om te ontdekken in de buurt (Luzern, de berg Rigi, een sportparcours in de buurt van het etablissement, enz.). Een gezonde keuken, geschikt voor fitness, oprecht uitstekend. Het personeel is attent, responsief. Mijn kamer was ruim en comfortabel.

Ik stond aanvankelijk erg sceptisch tegenover de hype, maar nadat twee vrienden onverdeeld enthousiast waren over deze plek, moet ik toegeven dat ze volkomen gelijk hadden. Ik heb me nog nooit zo fysiek fit gevoeld in mijn leven. Als het mogelijk was geweest om de tijd stil te zetten (en als ik flink wat extra geld ter beschikking had), dan had ik graag twee weken langer willen blijven. Ik hoop zeker op een spoedige terugkeer. Met name de massages waren werkelijk ongeëvenaard.
