Yoga is a holistic practice that originated in ancient India and has been practiced for thousands of years. The word 'yoga' comes from the Sanskrit word 'yuj', which means 'to join' or 'to unite'. It encompasses physical postures, breath control and meditation for a physically, mentally and spiritually balanced you. In yoga, people do different body positions called "asanas" to become more flexible and strong. You also learn to control your breathing to feel relaxed and focused. At its core, yoga seeks to unify the body, mind and spirit. Yoga is not just about the physical part; it also includes meditation and mindfulness to help you stay calm and reduce stress. Yoga postures are designed to increase strength, flexibility, and balance, while also improving body awareness. They are typically practiced in conjunction with conscious breathing, which helps to focus the mind and deepen the connection between body and mind.

Retreat Theme: Strengthen Your Back with Yoga

The "Strengthen Your Back with Yoga" retreat focuses on addressing back issues through targeted poses and exercises. Yoga builds back muscle strength and enhances spinal flexibility. The key to effective back strengthening lies in specific yoga exercises, mindful breathing, and proper body posture. Listening to your body and respecting your limits during these sessions are paramount. Regular yoga practice not only strengthens your back but also improves posture, flexibility, and reduces stress. Important Notice: This weekend is not recommended for people experiencing an acute herniated disc or any other serious, acute back injury with associated failure symptoms. It is advised to consult with a doctor before registering for this weekend retreat.

Yoga & Detox retreat

Join us for a transformative PureandCure Detox weekend, where nature's embrace and mindful practices converge to create a sanctuary of well-being. Immerse yourself in the serenity of this forest retreat. Replenish your spirit, reconnect with your inner self and leave with a renewed sense of balance, harmony and vitality. The retreat is based on full board juice fast, broth and offers elements of Yoga, Meditation classes, walk in the woods and Workshops about food. Boshotel Vlodrop offers an array of exceptional amenities to support your well-being. Indulge in the hotel's tranquil spa, where you can unwind with soothing massages, relax in the sauna or take a dip in the refreshing pool. The PureandCure Detox weekends are ideal for people who are new to detoxification and cleansing. A great starting point for a healthy lifestyle (or any other health goal) with detox juices and a range of (holistic) therapies for cleansing the body, mind and spirit.

Forest bathing retreat

Forest bathing, or shinrin-yoku, is a Japanese practice immersing individuals in natural forests for mindfulness. It emphasizes slow, deliberate movements and engages the senses to foster a deep connection with nature. By encouraging full presence in the forest environment, the practice has been linked to reduced stress, improved mood, heightened concentration, and enhanced immune function. This retreat is guided by a certified forest bathing expert. Forest bathing offers a therapeutic way to reconnect with nature, improving mental well-being in our hectic modern lives and much more.

Pranayama / Breath work Retreat

Pranayama (breath control) involves breath exercises. Practicing conscious breathing techniques helps you master your breath, often calming the mind, reducing stress, and enhancing vitality. Yoga extends beyond physical exercise, regarded as a holistic approach for both body and mind.

Mindful Meditation Retreat

A meditation holiday is the perfect way to fully focus on meditation. Combine meditation with yoga during a PurenandCure meditation retreat or meditation holiday. You'll learn new ways and forms of meditation, practice various techniques, and experience a calm and relaxed mind. Meditation fits well into an anti-stress journey, burnout vacation, or wellness retreat. Experience the healing power of a relaxed mind. Meditating is the perfect, and perhaps the easiest, way to bring more peace and balance into your busy life. Regular meditation helps you cope better with the demands of everyday life, reduces stress hormones in your body, and leaves you feeling healthier and happier.

Sound Bath

A sound bath, also known as a singing bowl session, is a form of sound therapy where vibrations are produced by instruments such as singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and other resonant tools. During a sound bath, you typically lie comfortably on the floor, experiencing the vibrating sound waves that move through the air and your body. The purpose of a sound bath is to induce a deep state of relaxation and meditation. The sound waves can be perceived as healing, reducing physical, mental, and emotional tension. The facilitator of the sound bath creates a soundscape by playing the various instruments harmoniously, allowing you to fully surrender to the experience.
