Hotel details
This charming seaside yoga retreat in Koh Samui combines daily holistic and mindfulness workshops—such as yoga, breathwork sessions, and sound healing—with a large spa and delicious, healthy cuisine.
Where you are going...
Vikasa is located directly by the sea on the east coast of Koh Samui, just a six-minute walk from Coral Cove Beach. Koh Samui Airport is a 20-minute drive away, as is Chaweng Beach.
Why you’ll love it...
Right in front of this renowned yoga retreat lies a private beach with lounge beds, offering complete relaxation under the sun by the sea. While the beach itself is not ideal for swimming, there are two beautiful swimming beaches on either side of Vikasa. At Vikasa, everything revolves around yoga, relaxation, and great food. Every day, there are two extensive yoga classes you can join. Additionally, you can participate in complimentary weekly yoga or mindfulness classes, including breathwork sessions, reiki, and sound healing. The spa offers Eastern treatments, holistic therapies, and tranquil spaces for ultimate relaxation. A cliffside ice bath is available for cold therapy. Vikasa welcomes both short and long stays, whether you're looking for just a few days of relaxation with holistic group classes or a tailored wellness program. The retreat also offers intensive Yoga Teacher Training. Another highlight: you can check in any day of the year!
Wellness, Spa and Health
Experience the healing power of nature at the spa, located in the Lotus Village area, where authentic Thai traditions and Eastern holistic treatments merge for ultimate relaxation.
The Vita Spa massage cabanas are perched on a cliff with breathtaking views of the Gulf of Thailand, with the soothing sound of the ocean as the perfect backdrop. The treatments are as impressive as the view. Options include Traditional Thai massages, Thai coconut oil massages, deep tissue massage, full-body coconut scrub, aloe vera sun recovery treatment, herbal compress massage. For a refreshing experience, the cliffside ice bath is perfect for cold therapy with a panoramic view. In addition to Eastern treatments, specialized therapies are also available, such as: craniosacral therapy – ideal for migraines, neck, and back pain. Or perhaps a private sound therapy session with Himalayan singing bowls or a reiki energy healing – to restore balance. The retreat features both an outdoor spa and a Japanese-inspired indoor spa with air conditioning, a treatment room, and a VIP room. There are also open-air spa pagodas and a beautiful garden for a peaceful tea moment. Holistic activities such as yoga, breathwork sessions, and sound healing are available daily.

What’s on the Menu
At Vikasa, nutrition plays a key role in a healthy lifestyle. The Life Café restaurant follows a plant-forward approach, meaning the focus is on plant-based foods, but without completely excluding animal products.
The meals are primarily made from vegetables, fruits, legumes, grains, nuts, and seeds, with small amounts of meat, fish, or dairy also available. For breakfast, lunch, and dinner, guests can enjoy delicious vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. All dishes are prepared without artificial additives or refined sugars. Some menu highlights include superfood bowls, mozzarella carpaccio, pomelo salad and Thai Tom Kha Gai soup. Pair your meal with a fresh coconut or one of the famous fresh smoothies. A buffet brunch is served daily from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, and dinner is available from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. If you book full board, both brunch and dinner are included.
