What a majestic view! Nestled in the mountains of Andalusia, Shanti-Som gazes out onto the Sierra de las Nieves and a nature reserve. At the same time, the fashionable beach resort of Marbella is just a 15-minute drive away. From Malaga airport, it's approximately a 45-minute drive.

The spa has a yoga studio, four treatment rooms, a sauna and a steam room.The relax lounge is a unique feature: head there after a relaxation massage to enjoy a cup of detox-tea. The gym has just been renovated. A large glass wall now allows you to enjoy views of the Sierra de las Nieves while you exercise. If you have a specific goal in mind, Shanti-Som offers expert yoga, detox, weight loss or stress management programmes. Should you so wish, there is also a personal trainer who can devise an individual exercise and diet plan for you, tailored around your personal goals or requirements. (Not to mention your home situation so that, once you’re home, you can maintain that healthy lifestyle).

What’s on the Menu

The Samsara Restaurant is a delightful setting for a nutritious breakfast following a yoga class. However, it also excels in serving light and health-conscious lunches, as well as creating exceptional settings for romantic dinners. The chefs draw their inspiration from the culinary traditions of Asia and the Middle East. Their dishes represent a unique fusion, crafted with an emphasis on utilizing local organic ingredients whenever feasible. Special dietary needs can also be accommodated.

Shanti-Som has 15 rooms, each decorated in their own unique style and with their own name. They have a private balcony or terrace, plus bathroom with toilet. Each room is constructed using local materials and designed according to the principles of feng shui. Rooms are also fitted with air-conditioning, fan and satellite TV. Bathrobe, slippers, hairdryer, safe and tea-making facilities are also provided. Bathrooms are equipped with Rituals products

Mooie kleinschalige locatie in de bergen met een goede persoonlijke service en heerlijk eten. Fijne retraite ook als je alleen reist.

Onbeschrijfelijke ervaring. Heel vriendelijk, warm onthaal. Fantastische keuken. Heel leuke yogalessen. Sound healing en breathwork waren een onvergetelijke ervaring.

Het was echt fantastisch! Werkelijk alles was gewoon goed! Ik kan niks verzinnen wat tegenviel.

Zeer prachtig hotel in een hele mooie en rustige omgeving. De medewerkers waren zo vriendelijk en goed (qua yogalessen of spabehandelingen. De keuken was zo goed dat mijn tip zou zijn om niet een detox te doen omdat je dan de heerlijke gezonde gerechten zult missen. Al zag ik ook wel dat de detox programma's professioneel en goed waren opgezet.
