Alpino Atlántico specializes in Ayurveda, with consultations and treatments conducted by highly skilled therapists at the resort's Ashoka Ayurveda Centre. You easily walk from your room to the spa area in bathrobe and slippers. Alpino Atlántico attracts guests who specifically stay to do an Ayurvedic program. Each programme starts with a consultation with the Ayurvedic doctor. The team of ayurveda therapists are trained by Ayurvedic practitioners from Asia. There's a dedicated space for yoga and meditation classes, a delightful complement to the treatments. One day after your arrival, the Ayurvedic doctor identifies your constitution (dosha) and devises a comprehensive plan. This plan includes a series of ayurveda treatments. When we were visiting Alpino Atlántico, we received a tailor-made, personalized nutrition consultation with Dr. Subha. It was fascinating to learn how to adjust and optimize your diet based on your doshas. The practical tools give guidance how to implement this at home.

What’s on the Menu

All guests with an ayurveda program will have acces to the special Ayurvedic buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. In the morning, alongside Ayurvedic options, you can also find sandwiches, toppings, or eggs on the buffet. Lunch and dinner feature a variety of warm dishes, primarily vegetarian options (excluding meat and fish) such as Ayurvedic curries. Based on your dosha consultation with the doctor, you could apply to receive dietary advice to help guide your choices at the buffet.

Alpino Atlántico features a total of 27 rooms, each designed with Mediterranean elements to infuse a sense of warmth. The rooms are not designed to be ultra-modern or stylish, but rather, they exude a cozy atmosphere. Each room has a bathroom that includes both a bath and a shower and a balcony or terrace. The provided amenities include a satellite TV, a telephone, tea-making facilities, a hairdryer, bathrobe and slippers, minibar and a safe. While the rooms come with air-conditioning, it is advisable not to use it if you are following an Ayurveda program.
