Boutique luxury on a quiet stretch of southern Thailand, far from Phuket's crowds. Bespoke wellness programmes and a setting built around calm make Aleenta a place for a genuinely restorative reset.
Where you are going...
Aleenta Phuket Resort & Spa sits on the unspoilt shoreline of Natai Beach in southern Thailand, looking out over the turquoise Andaman Sea. One thing worth clearing up straight away: despite the name, the resort isn't actually on Phuket island. It's in the quieter province of Phang Nga, about half an hour north of the airport and roughly ninety minutes from Phuket Town in the south. While the south of Phuket is packed with beach clubs, traffic and tourists, this stretch of coast is a different world entirely: no high-rises, no beach clubs, no traffic, just a long, largely deserted shoreline along the Andaman Sea. Fly into Phuket International Airport.
Why you’ll love it...
Aleenta Phuket is built around holistic wellbeing, pairing thoughtfully designed wellness retreats with the comfort of a luxury beach resort. The All Suites, All Private concept, the award-winning AYURAH wellness programmes and a strong focus on sustainable luxury make Aleenta a place where relaxation, health and lifestyle meet. What sets Aleenta apart from a typical luxury beach destination is how wellness is woven in here, not as an add-on to the stay, but as the whole point of it. At the head of the AYURAH wellness team is a German-Italian doctor with a rare specialism: over thirty years' experience practising the F. X. Mayr method, an expertise you'll seldom find outside Germany and Austria, let alone at a resort in Thailand. He brings that knowledge to every AYURAH programme, which is why none of them follow a fixed template, each is built from an intake consultation and medical check that looks not just at what you want, but at what your body actually needs at that moment. With a broad range of wellness programmes on offer, spanning fitness, relaxation, mental balance, detox and weight loss, Aleenta is a strong fit for anyone after more than just rest: genuine, personalised guidance included. It suits couples, solo travellers and anyone looking for a reset in a tropical setting.

Wellness, Spa and Health
AYURAH, Aleenta Phuket's wellness centre, takes a results-driven approach to health. The spa runs a range of wellness programmes, spanning fitness, relaxation and mental balance through to detox and weight loss, from three to twenty-one nights (longer stays are, of course, also possible). These programmes are built around AYURAH's six pillars: nutrition, movement, recovery, mindfulness, connection and relaxation. The approach draws on Middle Path philosophy, centred on finding a healthy balance between effort and rest, without resorting to extreme restriction. AYURAH blends holistic tradition with modern Western medical diagnostics, offering personal consultations, health assessments, coaching and integrative therapies alongside classic spa treatments. Think IV therapy, juice cleanses and targeted body treatments. Every wellness programme is tailored from the outset, starting with the intake. The doctor and his team map out not only your goals, weight loss, rest, detoxing, more movement, but also what your body needs right then: what you eat, in what quantities and combinations, and at what pace. That information goes straight to the kitchen, after which you decide where to eat (in the restaurant, in your room, or with your feet in the sand) and which meal becomes your main one of the day. The spa itself is calm and serenely designed, with a magnesium float pool among its highlights. Booking a wellness programme gives you free daily access to the fitness and holistic classes on offer, including yoga, meditation, Thai boxing, Pilates and functional fitness. The resort also has its own gym and a dedicated yoga and Pilates studio.

What’s on the Menu
Dining at Aleenta Phuket is an integral part of the wellness experience, with a strong focus on health, sustainability and local ingredients. The resort has two restaurants and a beachfront lounge bar, all working with local produce. As a co-founder of the Pure Blue Foundation, the resort has also been entirely free of single-use plastic since 2018. Seasons, open evenings only, takes its inspiration from Thailand's three seasons (wet, cool and hot). The Edge is open all day and serves a wide-ranging menu spanning fish, meat, vegetarian, Asian and European dishes. Breakfast at The Edge is a buffet with plenty of choice, topped up with an à la carte menu for extras, from healthy picks like granola, eggs, avocado and salmon to French toast, meat dishes or sandwiches. For a real holiday feel, try a healthy shake, smoothie, kombucha or signature cocktail at the Edge Beachfront Bar, sea view included. Wellness guests stay on a full-board basis, with meals tailored to their programme and goals. For something more romantic, the resort can arrange an intimate dinner for two, right on the beach.
We love
A wellness team and doctor who look well beyond a wish list — the personal, medically grounded approach to the wellness programmes is unique in the region.
The setting: deliberately far from the bustle of Phuket, with the airport still within easy reach.
The privacy of the pool villas and rooms — though not every villa sits right on the water, see the room types below.
Good to know
You don't need to book a wellness programme to enjoy your stay here. Without one, you're still welcome to join one holistic or sports class per stay, plus enjoy the healthy options on the restaurant menu.

Aleenta Phuket has 65 units in total, spread across the grounds and split across three categories, two of which come with a private pool — all of which lends the resort more of a boutique feel than that of a large-scale property. The entry-level category, the Grand Deluxe Pool Villa, sits on the other side of the road, a short distance from the beach and spa. For something closer to the water, the Beachfront Pool Suite (around 63m²) comes with its own pool. Every room is decorated in calming neutral tones, blending indoor and outdoor space. Each unit comes with modern comforts including a large TV, safe, hairdryer, tea and coffee facilities, a yoga mat, bathrobes and pyjamas.
